About "300 Years of Growth, Life and Death"

Upon visiting a game farm, I had the privilege of seeing hundreds of hardwood trees. These trees take 100 years to grow, live for 100 years, and then take 100 years to die. Each phase being uniquely beautiful and natural. When I saw this specific piece of wood in it's final phase, breaking down, I found it so be at its most beautiful. This painting reminds me that each phase of life is uniquely beautiful and death is a part of life. I find that thought extremely comforting.
