About "A Soulful Look"

I see this elegant woman as being beautiful in a way that defies modern mores that restricts good looks to youth. I built up the skin tones through many successive translucent layers to create a wonderful luminous effect. The textured, pastel-like locks of hair and the brushwork and blackness of the blouse compliments the pearlescent smoothness of her face and neck.
