About "A World Gone Mad"

I love cartoon and use it to create messages about the world around us. As an artist I feel almost guilty that I am not part of the helter-skelter world of business anymore. I see people moving with constant purpose from one task to the other, or one destination to the next, and here I am, sitting in the park watching them. I am now an observer of a world going mad.

About Christian

Christian van Rooyen

I am South African, a patriot of Africa and a resident of spectacular Cape Town. As a Creative Director in the Advertising Industry for 35 years my heart has always been in creating images that speak to people. I have never settled on a single medium and am versatile with just about any medium out there. I work mostly in 2D but have done fun projects in three dimension. My art business is called RandomArt, and for good reason. I love creating pictures/images/sculptures/craft spontaneously as my creative mind leads me. I have done computer art, oil painting, pen and ink illustration, cardboard art, water colors, silkscreen, wood burning, batik, etching, pencil, design, acrylics and even some random forest art creating large scale pictures from sticks, leaves and grass (whatever lies around). I am not happy unless I am creating. I also write and love story telling. This is the first time I am venturing out to actually sell a limited number of artworks.
