About "African Lady with Scarf "

I particularly like this painting as the lady is wearing a scarf and I know a lot of African ladies take great interest and care with their choice of scarf. This is a particularly colourful scarf and I think she is feeling comfortable with her choice of scarf. It is similar to wearing jewelry which gives the wearer a sense of pride and inner glow. This lady has that glow.
