About Salome

My passion and love for art has come a long way, since childhood I enjoyed to draw and paint. I knew I had a gift, but I never had the opportunity to attend Art School.
In 1989 my family and I moved to Paris, France for a period of four years. I had the great pleasure of working with South African artist Stefani van Zyl who guided me in private lessons, while living in Paris.
Upon our return to South Africa I decided to start living my dream and attended art classes. Afterwards the exciting process of discovering my unique style and developing by techniques started.
I believe in the old truth, practice makes perfect, and a true artist will continually learn and grow from different experiences that touch your soul.
I am a realist and adore working with colours and work hard at perfecting the details of each artwork.
Through my spiritual paintings I have the desire for every viewer to find the deeper meaning of the painting and be inspired by its message.
The work of other artists inspire me to continue the journey of living my dream, to work hard at perfecting an art that I love so dearly.
