It amazes me how some people can prosper even in the midst of great adversity. This work was inspired by these positive and brave people; happy to be alive even amidst the ruins; like the tree blossoming despite the back drop of the dilapidated building.

Painting has been an interest for many years, but I only recently realized that this is what I want to do "when I grow up"!
