Reference 1105 About "Aloe on Umber" I did this little painting from a picture that I took of an aloe growing in one of the Kruger Rest Camps. I enjoyed the way it flows and curls and the colour was so different to the aloes of the Eastern Cape that I normally paint and draw. I left out it's nasty thorns though! So I really should call it the 'Anna Aloe' as it surely is not a botanically correct painting. |
