Texture, contrast and composition just happened when I started this painting. At first I did not want to sell it. It is part of me, but now it can be yours.

About Andre

Andre Richards is a Swazi born artist who spent his childhood in both Swaziland and northern Natal, South Africa.
The endless change of colour in the rolling hills and the sky caught his attention from a very young age. Bright and interesting colour combinations, patens and display of African beadwork and art added to his deeply embedded desire to use all possible colours in every square inch of his canvas. Texture created by the paint enhances his peaceful and energy radiating artworks.

He often says; ‘The craft of simply copying a photo is just so limiting and often produces unbalanced artwork. An art creation must simply happen when I start painting. Each and every home should invest in at least one original artwork every second year. They fill your home with atmosphere, energy and intellect’.
