About Sanet

It is only God's love and grace that inspire me as an artist. What I see, feel, taste, smell and hear is inspiration for my work. I want the world to open their eyes, look around and see there is still beauty and amazing things around them that they can enjoy and love.

I was a high school teacher for 28 years and lived mostly in the central part of South Africa. I was born in Pretoria, finished high school at Lichtenburg High, studied at Potchefstroom University, and taught several subjects at schools in Gauteng, Limpopo and Mpumalanga area.

Married to my son's father for three years, single for 22 years and then married a widower in April 2004. Currently we live in one of the most lovely and beautiful provinces in our country, the Eastern Cape. I am the eldest daughter, and the second child of seven children. I also studied music, and that's another hobby that brings me peace, joy and love.
