About "Ballet Shoes"

My two girls of three and five just love anything that is pink, purple, ballerinas or fairies. This stage in their life will pass soon, which is why I have to capture it on canvas. I just love to dance and to see ballerinas dancing. August Renoir inspires me to capture movement in dancers and also the backstage moments.

My scenic surroundings of the colourful Free State farms and the most loved people who are around me everyday: My husband and two toddlers inspire my paintings and drawings more than you'll know.
