About "Birth of Ancient Dawn"

I painted this at a painful,desolate time of my life. I feel that it displays hope from this darkness and brokenness, like the birth of something immortal. The lighting in this painting indicates this hope of discovery. It is my personal favourite out of all my works, and after many requests from buyers I have kept it for myself for a few years. I hope that it will create the same mystery and enchantment to someone out there!
