About Marius
South African Artist Marius Prinsloo has been painting professionally since November 2001 and has done more than 61 exhibitions, expo's and demonstrations all over South Africa. In 2004 he was commissioned to paint a mural for a customer in Atlanta USA and in 2006 he was a guest artist on the TV2 program Pasella. The production team assembled at the picturesque West Coast town of Jacobsbaai where Marius had to paint on location. Since 2006 he has painted Inspiration Awards for the TygerBurgers yearly "Want ons Kan"/'Cause we Can' concert and recipients include: Trix Pienaar(2006), Johan & Lida Botha(2007), Ollie Viljoen(2008), Fanus Rautenbach(2009), David Kramer(2010), Hennie Loock(2011), Laurika Rauch(2012) and Fred Mouton(2013).
Marius is fortunate that his paintings can be found in offices and homes all over the world. Each painting gets numbered when it's sold and up to date 1722 paintings have found their 'resting' place on someone's wall.
The constant demand for Marius' paintings is surely an investment considering the appreciation of it's value over the past 12 years. A customer Andr[0xC3A9] Jordaan bought a framed painting (canvas size 300x900mm) April 2009 for R 2 500.00 and was very exited when he realized that the same painting now sell for R 6 900.00.
