About "Blind Faith"
77 cm x 90.5 cm Framed Painting (can be supplied without frame)
Blind Faith was inspired after having had a very painful laser eye treatment. On returning home I was experiencing trauma and anger at what I had been subjected to, my eyes had been covered with a thick gel as part of the treatment, leaving me with very little vision, yet I had an urge to express these deep emotions.

About Maeve
I find colour a language of great power and mystery, our whole world sings with its vibrations and provides one of the greatest means of exploring and expressing its beauty. Mostly, artists are telling stories of where they have been and how their life experiences have affected them. In the last few years I have been trying to intuit a lot of my work, and have realised that painting is still a conscious medium with rules, even if those rules are made to be broken
