About "Cara Kaalvoet (Cara Barefoot)"

This weekend we went to the farm, Cara's first time ever. This was her running to the horse she would be riding for the next hour, she had the time of her life!! In the end she rode the beast with the relaxation of one born to it.

Home schooled in oil painting by grandmother Ellen Botha, Riaan learned painting, sculpting and drawing in the style and manner of the "Old Masters".

South African artist, born in Germiston next to Johannesburg in 1976.

Influenced by Carravagio, Renoir and Van Gogh. Those 3 fascinate me! Carravagio with the stories his paintings tell, Renoir with the atmosphere and softness of his ladies and Van Gogh with his 3d style of painting and all round beauty of their works.
