About "Cheetah in the Bush"

Over Christmas, my husband and I got to travel to MoKaiKai with some friends to their game lodge and we saw so many amazing animals...one being the cheetah. After taking lots of photos, I was inspired to do a painting of this beautiful creature.

I love art! I grew up in a family of artists, with both my parents being professors of art, and my sister, and brother also being artists themselves. In university, I studied art and recieved my Bachelors degree in Fine Art in 2009, then went on to get my Masters in Fine Art, graduating in 2010. I believe God gives all of us gifts and talents to be used for His glory, and I hope my art can accomplish such a goal--to inspire others to love beauty, enjoy art, and worship the one True Artist and Creator of all...

I love all sorts of mediums but my favorite is watercolor. There is a spontaneous and free look you get with watercolor that you can not get with any other medium. It's inspiring to work with, colorful and feeds the imagination...

So, I hope you enjoy my gallery, find a love for art for yourself, and come in contact with the Creator who has made us so that we can enjoy creativity as well.
