About Nadine

My interest in art started at a young age and was further pursued in high school. I chose a different course of study after school but continued my art privately. I learn as I live, and with each new work I create I learn something new - a wonderful process.
I am inspired by life and nature. Most concepts that inspire me have their roots in the sensations they evoked when they inspired. I also like to play and explore my concepts usually resulting in many variations on a theme – each individually attractive and suggestive of its own inception and motive.
My work consists mostly of canvas and acrylic but I also often use various mixed medias in creating a piece including ink, watercolour, graphite, and spray paint to name a few. I have privately sold art work to individuals living in Botswana and South Africa and have done commissions in both countries.
I sign my work Dezna, often in the corner or on the edge of a work. The purpose of my art is beauty, pleasure and interest.
