Reference 1 About "Conversation in a Landscape" Barrydale district has many historic buildings. Its a beautiful area with sweeping mountain vistas. I spend a lot of time exploring and capturing the old buildings on canvas. This one is on a farm just outside the town. The weight given is of the framed work. |

I love the challenge of portraying the elements. whether it be a stormy Highveld sky, or the harsh karoo light, as well as recording the old buildings that are sadly becoming derelict one sees throughout the country.
