These two brothers are boys from an African war torn country. there is such an intimate closeness between them that reminds me of the story of King David and his best friend Jonathan from the Bible. Their eyes tell the whole story

I am a youth pastor from Cape Town and currently busy doing an honors study in Psychology. I love people...the stories that their faces tell...the history in the eyes and the lines on their faces. To me, all these are faces of worship. even in the deepest sadness, there is hope and when we come out of hardship, we have a great story to tell. This is what my paintings are all about.
