About Annatjie

I started painting in 1987 after attending classes with a well known artist for 3 months. In the early days I was totally inspired by the beauty I could see around me in nature and just had to find a way to capture this forever. Photos were not good enough because I just did not see things through a lens like I see it in my mind and heart.

All my paintings is directly from my imagination and I do not paint from any photos. I close my eyes and see the picture in my mind.

Every one is a heartfelt experience and anyone buying one of my paintings will experience a lot of satisfation and inner peace by looking at it.

I have sold my earlier paintings mostly to private buyers and work on commissions as well.
