About "Drakensburg Springtime"

We hiked in the Drakensburg during spring and I tried to capture the amazing green colour of the burg once I was back in my studio. It was a quiet cloudy day, but everything was so bright and green.

I was born in East London, South Africa and have lived here all my life. I am married and I have three children who are all married now. I also have three beautiful granddaughters and two lovely grandsons.

I love to paint in oils and to experiment with colour and realism. I am blessed to have a lovely sunny studio from which I work and have spent many happy hours in it.
