This peaceful giant was with a group of four bull elephants who were drinking water from a reservoir amongst ilala palms (one of the elephants favourite foods in Kruger National Park).

About Tami

I come from an artistic family so my interest in art was always encouraged. I attended the National School for the Arts and later studied Graphic Design at the University of Johannesburg. I’ve worked in the advertising industry for 10 years both permanently and on a freelance basis.

My passion for colour is fuelled by the individuality that one gets from art that can only be produced by the human hand and the way the medium interacts with the canvas.

My work is about exploring the interactions between various colours and textures. I combine my love for African wildlife, with my love for creating art.
