I made use of old oregon pine ceilling pannels when somebody started to restore a very old house. I like to paint the proteas growing on Portervile mountain.

As a born and bred Bolander and former inhabitant of Redelinghuys I grew up appretiating and loving nature in all its facets.Thereafter I spent time in Namibia and all the "earthy" influences have helped develop a keen sense of flowers, Afrikaner, indigenous portraits and figure painting. Being an inquisitive person im always looking for the detail to best express deep and rich colouration in my art.
Having attended various art workshops im not averse to dabbling in various mediums.
