About "Epoch of the Ancient, Modern & Future"

This work was inspired by my interest in Ancient art and flora. The seed holds special meaning for me - growth being the result. Our world is evolved from the Ancients and can be read on many levels. The viewer can choose which world to be in. Shafts of light and sun rings are always present.

About Lyn

Plants have a huge influence in my art. The organic form and design is used imaginatively and develops as I draw. They usually have some form of eroticism, seen on different levels. My lino cuts have different influences, stylistic figure work, all spontaneous ideas weave themselves into forming an art work. Design and texture play a huge part in the balance of black and white.
