About David

David M Kingwill. Born & bred on a sheep farm in the Karoo, my passion is the conservation, preservation and enjoyment, of the wondrous beauty of our natural heritage - bush, birds, beasts and human beings. My faces of Eve were an attempt to show beauty through the world: Do the gentle Lua of Thailand see beauty in the scarred ebony skinned Nuban? Or could our Xhosa warrior be interested in the shy, mournful, thin Asmat headhunter girl? After doing a number of African maidens, I tried other tribes and peoples in America and Asia.
Gicl[0xC3A9]e prints on Art Paper, in limited number and signed are available for all "Eve" portraits, and can be sized anywhere between A4 & A3 by request.
