About "Exodus"

Exodus is about lots of people waiting to get on the bus and going home, they are getting ready to move out. All just watching and wondering when they can get on the bus.

About Alexander Gabriel

Alexander Gabriel Lees

Self tought artist who started painting at an early age at primary school in 1963. Began painting seriously while working on the reil ways as a shunter-station foreman in 1972.

I get inspired by people, and their emotions, way of living and suffering, the use of rain in my work comes over very often, because i find it very clensing. Texture creates a feeling of reality, my work has a lot of texture.

Alexander was born 22 August 1953 in Zambabwe, he is married and has 8 children. Alexander also paints as A. Khumalo (Mothers maiden Name)
