About "Expectation..." This painting depicts LIFE and HOPE to me...There is an expectant expectation in this young boy's face of things to come and the world out there. The three primary colours surrounding the boy in the painting depict a zillion potential colours that can be made from combining these three colours...And, even though these colours are beautiful as they are, they hold an incredible potential to form new amazing colours as they are combined....An individual's life may seem simplistic or even insignificant....but that life holds so much potential for what it can become and what it can mean to the world around it! |
