Reference Cheetah About "Faces of Byron" The Faces of Byron is a portrayal of the first education ambassador cheetah of the Ann van Dyk Cheetah Centre. His main function is to visit schools in urban and rural areas to teach learners to take care of our world. When this charismatic cat walks into a classroom, jumps onto a desk and starts to purr, he changes the hearts and minds of the younger generation. He has met in excess of 100,000 children over the past 10 years. This painting depicts Byron at various stages of his life. |

Marilyn Hull (formerly Dean)was born in Zimbabwe and moved, with her family, to South Africa in 1964. She has worked with animals all her life and is passionate about wildlife. She worked for fifteen years at the Ann van Dyk Cheetah Centre where she established a Conservation Education Programme and was later appointed General Manager of the Centre.
