While on a ski holiday at Killington Vermont, the artist made sketches and took photographs of different landscapes and scenes in the vicinity. This specific scene was chosen for the balance between absolute peace and activity. Painting Fall in Killington was just as enjoyable as being at the ski resort in Killington itself. Note that the artist loves warm colours. Usually the sky will have a glow of sunrise or sunset.

About Anna

Anna Sophia Aletta Johanna van Zyl, an Educational Psychologist, studied art under guidance of Elize Olivier, Beau Art, Jeffreys Bay. She prefers working in acrylic, water colours and oil pastels. She also does pen sketches.

Anna finds her inspiration in the country life surroundings of the Eastern Cape in South Africa. She also loves doing replicas of the old masters.
