Reference Fall's Tranquality About "Fall's Tranquality" I played around with combinations of colours on my palette that I din't normally put together and came across the most beautiful tranqual bluegreens. It reminded me of a cool, windy Autumn day and the painting just grew from there. I wish I wasn't so lazy in doing color charts, I know there are many more beautiful and unusual color combinations waiting for me... |

I love the process of making art and I especially love paintings that also shows the stages the painting went through, from sketchy to finely rendered. To me, it shows the hand of the artist and makes the painting so much more than a photo of the subject. I aim to paint representationally, contrasting realism with abstract, vintage with modern, rough with soft. Women and landscapes are a recurring theme because I have a strong connection with both and wish to celebrate their essence in my paintings. I am constantly learning and developing my craft and it is the most fulfilling journey and relationship with moments of utter joy (and despair).
