About "Far far away" This work is truly a piece of my soul. It was here that I realised that I had spoken a thousand words, without saying a thing. I was explaining the work to a friend, when I suddenly realised what had been said through this painting. For once in my life, I was speechless! |

Or sometimes, I think about a painting for ages, and suddenly it all just comes together. I try to be flexible... I never realised until recently how strongly my emotions actually come through in my paintings. Things that bother me, or inspire me or make me happy generally show in my latest paintings. I find it really uncanny how this happens totally subconciously. If I had to try to paint how I feel, I dont think it would work! Its something that just comes from in your heart, from who you are.
