Reference interiour About "Farm Kitchen" This a scene from my mothers kitchen which is normally a gathering place around the table for the family not only for visits but also for discussions and braais. The table is mostly stacked with food but since I painted from life it was impossible to keep the table neat and clean long enough to paint. There for the emty table wich creates some quietness in the final painting |

As an artist Im inspired by the effect of light on objects and environments.[0xD][0xA]I graduated from university in 1993. Was a full time lecturer at Bloemfontein technikon in object and figure drawing 1997-2001. Thereafter I studied webdesign in Cape Town at Hirt and Carter and worked at Cloverleaf candles as designer.I was a full time arts and culture teacher at Campsbay High in CapeTown during the course of 2003. In 2004 I moved to Bethal in Mpumalanga where I started practicing as a professional artist and I give art classes on a daily basis.[0xD][0xA]I exhibited at numerous galleries.
