About "Fire on the Horizon"

I wanted to inspire some thought when this painting was viewed from a distance to rather create inspiration with the viewer than with the artist I wanted the viewer to think about what they where viewing rather than having to deal with a direct image. It was meant to create and internal debate within oneself.

About Janeen

What inspires me is honesty and being true to myself. Investigating people and their lives that they live. Emotion is a HUGE factor in my work as I would like to carry a emotion into my paintings. They need to echo the emotion of the subject and carry you away into the moment. However I do not always do emotional images but sometimes I enjoy a great abstract just to break away from the confines
of the rigid. i would explain myself as a highly versatile creative that moves from fine art, abstract and sometimes graphic design. I enjoy the versatile world of my art.
