About "Flight of Fancy"

In this painting I wished to portray the delicate alliance we so often find between animals and in this case between birds and horses. I love the gentle energy, the kind understanding they seem to lend each other. Having spent many hours on the farm with my percheron draft horse, I have come to witness the kindness they show each other.
