View all 4 works by Boderick Somana About Boderick I have won many prices awards for my art the excellent awards for outstanding art work in 2005,2006,2007 and 2008.One being a trip to London through Deutsche Bank.On this trip a group of price winners were taken to galleries to study art.I was greatly influence by the Australian Aboriginal art.I was impress with the colours used in their work.I have since spent many hours,using tooth pick or sticks patiently practising texture,colour and composition.So art as I see it it is not just a set of symbols and pretty colours,it is in fact the story of people's family and lineage.That's wat inspires me as an artist.
