About "Forty Days"

This piece is based on the word of God where Jesus was tempted for 40 days and 40 nights in the desert.The 'desert experience'in the spiritual realm is not pleasant at the time,but the rewards after far outtweigh the momentary hardships.There are many references to 'Forty'in the Bible and they all refer to a time of hardship,but also a time of great cleansing and breakthrough in our lives.

All my work carries spiritual symbolism in the use of my colours, titles and texts.

I want my art to touch people`s souls with a gentleness, but also to open their eyes to the things in life that seem to go unnoticed, yet carry a great beauty with them.
