About "Freedom"

This canvas represents Freedom of Life. The freedom of the butterfly caressing the soft satiny petals of the flowers, whilst the heavy dew-drop looks on. Foil, newsprint, acrylic in hues of silver, cream, pink, and blue complete this idyllic picture.

About Lana

I am a self taught mosaic artist. I usually draw some form of the idea or picture onto the surface I’ll be working on, and allow the work to develop from there. From the very beginning I was drawn to using mirror in my mosaics. As I am a Libran I love shiny, sparkly and beautiful things. If I'm not mosaicing you'll find me landscaping or renovating property.
