About Doreen

I am an inhabitant of Melkbosstrand, South Africa for the past 43 years.

It was a childhood dream of mine to become an artist and after I retired, I started to attend art classes with Mare Bruwer, a well-known artist and lecturer. She is known for her contribution to establish new artists.

It gives me so much pleasure when a clean canvas turns into a beautiful picture.

My love for nature is also a factor in my paintings.

I had the privilege of traveling to Europe where I photographed and captured some of those beautiful sceneries on canvas.

I hope that my paintings will also bring joy to your home.

We also partake in group exhibitions from time to time. The medium I mainly use is acrylic paint.
