I saw the photo, and thought, "I should paint this," but it wasn't like the other photos I've painted. But eventually I forced myself to do it for exactly this reason, and I really enjoyed it.

About Lalie

I am still very young in artists' terms, but I feel that I have alot to offer and alot to learn at the same time. I am inspired by beauty, as most people are, and I love small details that make a picture interesting and keeps the viewer captivated for a long time.
I also love something that looks modern but is actually just a new way of doing something traditional.

I believe in the process of making a piece of art, but the finished product is just as important - the process lasts but a few days, while the art lasts forever.

At the end of the day the reason that I paint and draw, is simply because it makes me happy to think that I can make something beautiful, where before, there was nothing.
