Reference L2 About "Lion" This was my first attempt at a large-scale wildlife painting with background. I chose a gorgeous, but unfortunately cliched image to paint. Nonetheless the painting turned out well and I was happy with the mood I captured in it. |

I love wildlife and being in nature. I particularly love birds and am happiest when I'm in the middle of nowhere with a pair of binoculars in my hands. I would love to live out in the bush, but for now I'm living in the city, working as an illustrator and designer until I can fulfil my dream. Most of my paintings seem to be of birds or big cats - definitely my favourite subjects, but by no means the only ones I paint.
