About "Lioness Drinking" We watched this lioness for hours at a watering hole in Etosha. She sat on the edge of the pan for what seemed like an eternity, waiting patiently for a large bull elephant to finish drinking at the tiny water hole. It was very special watching this muscled powerful animal wait for this elephant to finish. She was so skittish of his every movemont. This shot follows the one before, and this was where she got to the water to drink, but was still very aware of the elephants movements. |
