About "Lonesome Crouching Nude "

High quality print (Silvertone Int.) on paper. Once off, limited single series of 50 prints only. Prints are individually titled and signed & dated by the artist. In addition, for purposes of authentication, each print has a unique stamped serial number that is archived.

In August 2021 Oxia Palus, a company that specialises in generating spatial images of lost art, recreated the Lonesome Crouching Nude that lies beneath the 1903 Picasso painting, The Blind Man's Meal. X-ray fluorescence (XRF) imaging, artificial intelligence and 3D printing enabled a physical rendering of the orginal nude to be produced. Casey then used the obscured image to realise his own interpretation of the original Picasso nude in charcoal.

About Casey

Born in March 1970, the artistic career of Casey started at a young age under the shadow of his great grandfather Tinus de Jongh, and it was only natural that he would be influenced by his Dutch heritage. Being fully self-taught, he continues to pursue his own expressive interests and his artistic progression is drawn from personal life experiences and those of the lives and works of ground breaking Western artists.
He also works as an embedded software engineer in robotics and artificial intelligence.
