Reference Vezu boys of Andavadoaka About "Madagascar Beach Party" The vezu people are primarily fishermen living on the south western shores of Madagascar. Despite considerable hardships due to their dependance on the ocean and the degeneration of the reefs, the children are always happy and keen to engage. Blue Ventures is doing valuable work in this area in terms of conserving the environment and finding alternative livelihoods for the villagers. On this painting, one of the volunteers of Blue Ventures, Yin, breaks into a spontaneous dance with 2 of the village boys. |
