About "Male Choir"

I use vibrant colours like red, blue and yellow in this painting which is an expressionistic work and express my feeling while listening to a male choir in our small town.

About Elsa

I prefer working with oil on canvas and create my art work mainly from my imagination without a lot of preparation. By doing so, I replace my emotions with form, line and colour, spontaneous from the hart and without much realism.
I was also greatly inspired by artists such as Van Gogh, Eduard Munch and Picasso.

all over South Africa for the Sasol New Signatures competition where it was thereafter exibited for 3 months in the Pretoria Art Gallery.
- "Till death us do part" was selected as one of 100 finalists throughout Sout Africa in die Vuleka art competition sponsord by Sanlam
- I'm planning on having a solo exibition in August 2010
