About "Missy"

I love to capture emotions. This picture tells a story of brokeness and hope of restoration.I painted this from a photo taken by my causin, Marnus Meyer. it's a photo of his daughter. Even though family members could recognise her, I did not complete the real picture. Once again, God spoke to me about this picture and instructed me to stop and look at the painting as it was at this stage. Through this process, God brought healing of past hurts in my own life.

About Joey

I only discovered my talent accidently and is still learning. I started with pencil drawings of animals and is now experimenting with oils and acrylics. My friend Salomie King is my mentor and help me a lot. She often chalenge me to try something new and usely something I would not try on my own.
I paint under the name of "WOUWIE" because this is my nick name.
I love people as well as painting and my desire is to touch peoples lives through my paintings.
I only paint with worship music in the background.I believe it is the anointing of the Holy Spirit that enable me to paint.
