About "Mrs Balls Chutney"

I decided to start this series while thinking about what gift to send my sister living abroad. I wanted to send something fun that would remind her of home, and not heavy to send :)
These paintings are small affordable and can curb that nostalgia.
Visitors to South Africa might like a bit of South Africa to take home as well, this was the right gift!

I have chosen a few products that South Africans generally have in their pantry.
Majority of the products I have painted are made in South Africa, however there are a few that aren't but can[0x1]t be lived without.

Passionate about the adventure of life and art I approach each artwork with an open mind and heart.

Colour is one of my greatest loves, bringing this into all my work. I paint in various mediums and enjoy Portraits, Landscapes, Still-life and Murals. Just about anything as long as I have a paint brush in hand.

I was born in Fishhoek, Cape Town and grew up in Muizenberg. I settled down in George in the Western Cape South Africa.
