About "Napoleon's Escape"

I was in a coastal town in Holland, called Veere. There i came across an underground tunnel which led out to the sea. Apparently Napoleon used this tunnel as an escape route. I liked the way the light illuminated the stairs, also the green moss walls, and round curved wall inspired me to paint this.
