About "New Life"

This paintng was inspired by the fields of wild flowers near my studio. Whenever I stroll through there with my little dog I think of new life...new beginnings...it is all going to be alright...

About Jos

Born in South Africa, Jos lived there for around twenty five years and has since lived in the north of Italy.
Jos is an artist known for her exquisite colourful works in the style of the impressionists. Entirely self taught, Jos describes herself as a dreamer. Working directly from what she experiences around her, her works are created by breathing life into her subjects. She holds a special sensibility and awareness toward the natural world that clearly resonates through her ability to capture light.
Jos has sold her original paintings throughout the world, and has a permanent solo exhibition in Italy.
She has participated in several landmark exhibitions, with her work held in numerous private collections worldwide.
