About Mandy

The artwork has been produced using everyday waste items such as cigarette packet liners, car parts, chip packets, ring pulls, Milo tin pulls, milk cartons and resin.

Often, art and craft created from waste or found objects is justified simply by the use of the materials, or by the artist's philosophical agenda. I utilize waste as a primary medium. I focus on the beauty of the image and try to hide the fact that I am using waste as my canvas.

My work focuses mainly on the environment and is almost based on an effort to change the human action merely through pointing out our activities and what they may or may not do to ensure a safe passage for ourselves and our children.
