About "Persimmons with copper bowl"

The beautiful, bright orange of the persimmon really appealed to me as well as the fact that they are not often painted.

About Rose

Rose Ogden

She has had work selected to be exhibited at the EPSAC gallery in Central as well as the Cuyler Street Gallery.

The diversity of the South African landscape has been a constant source of inspiration. Our rich cultural diversity and history, together with the vibrant colours of nature, continue to provide exciting material for my works.

As I have wandered through the maze of self discovery, many exciting doors have opened and I have been privileged to attend art courses by Ryno Swart, Dale Elliott and BA Moolman who have enriched both my life and painting skills! Discovering the magic of colour and mystery and learning to 'see' are lessons I continue to learn.
