My talent comes from Above, my inspiration comes from Nature's color. Born in Namibia, lived on the South Coast of KwaZulu Natal & Richards Bay and now retired in Kini Bay. Devoted to Ceramics and Oil Painting for many years, but lately am enjoying the texture and vibrance achievable with Acrylics. My approach to color is both vivid and atmospheric. Painting is a powerful form of self-expression. Among my mentors are Nick Stobart, Diamond Boza, Christa Botha, Grace Brokensha, Malachi Smith, Michael & Norma Guassardo, Tony Durrheim, Richard Rennie, Andre Grobler and Louis Audie. I taught art to children while working at Nick's Art in Umtentweni for 2 years. Through Nick's encouragement during that time painting has become more than a hobby. I love to attend workshops and demo's whenever possible as art is a continual adventure and one can never learn enough...
